There are times when you need to share information from Manager Toolkit with others or extract data for use elsewhere. This guide covers the options available for getting your data out of the platform.
Sharing Retro Outcomes
After running a retrospective, you can share the outcomes with your team or stakeholders. The retro summary includes all notes, vote counts, and any actions created. You can share directly to Slack or copy the share link to send via any channel.
Shared retros are accessible to anyone with the link, so participants can review the outcomes even if they do not have a Manager Toolkit account.
Sharing Survey Links
Surveys are designed to be shared widely. Once a survey is live, copy the survey link from the sharing page and distribute it through your preferred channels. Respondents do not need an account to complete the survey.
Printing Pages
Any page in Manager Toolkit can be printed using your browser's built-in print function (Ctrl+P on Windows, Cmd+P on macOS). The print stylesheet removes navigation elements and optimises the layout for paper or PDF output. This is useful for creating physical copies of catchup notes, target summaries, or review preparation documents.
The MCP Connector
For programmatic access to your data, the MCP Connector allows compatible AI assistants like Claude and Cursor to read and interact with your Manager Toolkit data. This opens up possibilities such as:
- Asking an AI assistant to summarise your recent management activity
- Pulling data from Manager Toolkit into reports or documents
- Automating repetitive data extraction tasks
API Keys
For developers or advanced users, API tokens provide direct access to the Manager Toolkit API. This allows you to build custom integrations or extract data programmatically for use in other systems.
CSV Export
Manager Toolkit does not currently offer a built-in CSV export feature. If you need structured data for analysis in a spreadsheet, the MCP Connector or API keys are your best options for extracting data in a format you can work with.
Data Portability
Your data belongs to you. If you need a full export of your account data for compliance or portability reasons, please contact our support team and we will assist you.
