The MCP Connector is a Pro feature. Upgrade to Pro to connect Manager Toolkit to external AI assistants.

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that allows AI assistants to connect to external tools and data sources. Manager Toolkit supports MCP, which means you can use AI assistants like Claude, Cursor, and others to interact with your management data.

What Is MCP?

MCP provides a standardised way for AI tools to read and write data from connected services. Instead of copying and pasting information between your AI assistant and Manager Toolkit, the MCP connector lets them communicate directly.

Connecting Your AI Assistant

Go to Profile > Tools in Manager Toolkit.
Find the MCP Connector section.
Click Connect and follow the OAuth authorisation flow.
In your AI assistant (Claude, Cursor, or another MCP-compatible tool), add Manager Toolkit as a connected service using the provided configuration.

The OAuth flow ensures your data is accessed securely. You will be asked to approve the connection, and you can revoke access at any time from your profile.

What You Can Do

Once connected, your AI assistant can:

  • Read your actions - ask about outstanding tasks, overdue items, or priorities
  • Read catchup history - review recent one-to-one notes and sentiment trends
  • Read targets - check progress on goals across your team
  • Create items - add new actions, log catchup notes, or create reminders directly from your AI assistant

This makes it possible to manage your team through natural conversation with your AI tool, without switching back to the Manager Toolkit interface.

Security

The MCP connection uses OAuth tokens that are scoped to your account. Your AI assistant can only access data you have permission to see. You can disconnect the integration at any time from Profile > Tools.

Try asking your AI assistant to summarise your week or list overdue actions. The MCP connector turns your management data into something you can query conversationally.
