What events appear on the calendar?

Can I create events directly on the calendar?
The calendar displays activity from other features rather than acting as a standalone event creator. To add an item, create it through the relevant feature, such as catchups, meetings, or reminders, and it will appear on the calendar automatically.
How do I connect Google Calendar?

Why are some events missing?
