Beyond summaries, Manager Toolkit uses AI to help you generate and improve content throughout the platform. These features are triggered from within each feature, not from the toolbar.
AI-Suggested Actions
When you finish logging a catchup or meeting, the AI can analyse your notes and suggest follow-up actions. You review each suggestion and choose which ones to create. This helps ensure nothing discussed gets forgotten.
Suggestions are based on the content of your discussion notes, so the more detail you provide, the more relevant the suggestions will be. For example, if you note "Sarah mentioned struggling with the new deployment process", the AI might suggest an action like "Arrange deployment process walkthrough for Sarah". You can accept, edit, or dismiss each suggestion individually.
AI-Improved Notes
While writing discussion notes in a catchup or meeting, you can ask the AI to improve your text. It tidies up grammar, clarifies phrasing, and makes your notes more concise - without changing the meaning.
This is particularly useful when you are writing notes quickly during or immediately after a conversation. Bullet points and rough shorthand are transformed into clear, readable paragraphs that will make sense when you revisit them weeks later. The original text is replaced in the editor, but you can undo the change if you prefer your original version.
AI Survey Insights
After collecting survey responses, the AI can analyse the results and provide written insights. It identifies patterns across responses, highlights areas of concern, and summarises sentiment - saving you time on manual analysis.
This feature is especially valuable for surveys with open-ended text responses, where manually reading and categorising dozens of answers would take considerable time. The AI groups similar feedback together, identifies the most common themes, and flags any responses that stand out as particularly positive or negative.
AI Retrospective Prompts
When setting up a retrospective, the AI can suggest discussion prompts tailored to your team's recent activity. These prompts help start productive conversations and ensure relevant topics are covered.
For example, if your team recently completed a difficult project or experienced a change in sentiment, the AI will suggest prompts that guide reflection on those specific experiences. This is more effective than using generic prompts, because the conversation starts with topics your team is already thinking about.
AI Theme Detection
As you log catchups and meetings over time, the AI can detect recurring key themes in your conversations. It suggests themes you might want to track, helping you spot patterns you may not have noticed.
Theme detection works across all your conversations, not just individual ones. If the same topic - such as "workload concerns" or "career development" - appears in catchups with multiple team members, the AI will highlight it as a potential theme worth tracking formally.
