Transparency matters. This article provides a clear breakdown of what data Manager Toolkit stores, what cookies are used, and what analytics we collect.
Account Data
When you sign up, the following account data is stored via Clerk, our authentication provider:
- Your name and email address
- Your authentication method (email/password or Google sign-in)
- Session tokens for keeping you signed in
Management Data
This is the data you create while using Manager Toolkit. It is stored in our Cloudflare D1 database and is accessible only to you (and, where applicable, to participants you explicitly invite).

Analytics Data
We use two analytics tools to understand how the product is used and to identify issues:
- PostHog - used for product analytics, feature usage tracking, and error monitoring. PostHog data is anonymised and is not linked to the content of your management records.
- Google Analytics - used for page view tracking and understanding traffic patterns. No management data is sent to Google Analytics.
Analytics data helps us improve the product, fix bugs, and understand which features are most useful. It is never sold or shared with advertisers.
Cookies
Manager Toolkit uses cookies for the following purposes:
- Clerk authentication cookies - essential for keeping you signed in and managing your session securely.
- PostHog cookies - used for anonymised product analytics.
- Google Analytics cookies - used for page view and traffic analysis.
- Preference cookies - used to remember your settings, such as your selected theme.
We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not share cookie data with third-party advertisers.
What We Do Not Collect
- We do not use device fingerprinting.
- We do not collect or store biometric data.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with any third party.
- We do not use your management data to train AI models.
