How are Projects different from Targets?
Projects are broader initiatives that contain multiple Actions, comments, and linked meetings. A Project might be "Migrate the analytics stack" or "Launch the new onboarding flow". Targets are individual goals assigned to team members with progress sliders and deadlines, for example "Run 8 customer interviews this quarter". A Project can have multiple Targets contributing to it. See Tracking Progress for how the two fit together.
What happens when I delete a Project?
Deleting a Project permanently removes it along with every connected Action, comment, and calendar event tied to it. Any meeting notes that were linked to the Project are unlinked but not deleted, so your historical record of the meetings stays intact. Deletion cannot be undone, so consider moving the Project to the Cancelled status instead if you want to preserve the trail. See Project Statuses for more on status options.
Why is there no Cancelled column on the kanban board?
The kanban groups Completed and Cancelled into a single Completed column to keep the lifecycle tidy. Both are "done" states, just for different reasons. The actual status is preserved on the Project and shown on the card, and you can still set a Project to Cancelled from its detail page.
Can I link a Project to multiple teams?
A Project belongs to a single team, but the Actions and meetings linked to it can come from anywhere. If two teams are genuinely sharing ownership, the usual pattern is to pick the team most accountable for delivery and add members from the other team as Action assignees.
How do I link a meeting to a Project?
Open the meeting note and pick the Project from the "Project" selector at the top of the form. Linked meetings then appear on the Project detail page under the Meetings tab, and the meeting itself shows the Project badge. The selector only lists Projects from the meeting's selected team, so swap the team first if the Project you want is not there.
