The right side of the extension home screen shows your outstanding actions - the ones that are not yet completed or marked as Won't Do. This gives you a live view of what needs attention without opening the dashboard.
What Appears in the List
The extension fetches up to ten actions, sorted by priority:
- Urgent
- Normal
- Low Urgency
Within each priority, actions appear in the order they were created. Completed and Won't Do actions are filtered out automatically.
Each action row shows:
- A checkbox on the left to mark it complete
- The action text as a clickable link
- Badges showing priority, team, member, and deadline
Deadline Badges
Deadline badges are colour-coded to show urgency at a glance:
- Red - overdue (past the deadline date)
- Orange - due today, tomorrow, or within the next three days
- Grey - due in four or more days, shown as a date
Completing an Action
Click the checkbox to the left of an action to mark it complete. The row fades out immediately and disappears from the list. If the request fails, the row reappears and an error message shows at the bottom of the panel.
Completed actions are updated in the dashboard immediately. You do not need to refresh the dashboard separately.
Opening an Action in the Dashboard
Click the action text to open the full action detail in the dashboard. This lets you add comments, change the status, set a deadline, or link the action to a catchup or meeting note.
The team and member badges are also clickable - they open the relevant team or member profile in the dashboard.
Refreshing the List
The list loads when you open the extension. If you have made changes in the dashboard since then, click the refresh icon in the top right of the Outstanding Actions header to reload the list.
The list also refreshes automatically after you save any new item from the extension.
More Than Ten Actions
If you have more than ten outstanding actions, a View all in dashboard link appears at the bottom of the list. Click it to open the full Actions page in the dashboard, where you can filter, sort, and bulk-manage your backlog.
