Theme Customisation

Personalise your workspace with themes, colours, and fonts.

Last updated April 2026

Manager Toolkit lets you personalise the look and feel of your workspace. Whether you prefer a subtle dark theme or something more vibrant, there are options to make the app feel like your own.

Preset Themes

There are fourteen preset themes to choose from. Free plan users get three (Dark Purple, Night, and Pearl); Pro unlocks the other eleven (Grayscale, Water, Soil, Retro, Crimson, Army Green, Azure, Lavender, Cobalt, Jade, and Sage).

To change your theme:

Go to Profile > Preferences.
Find the Theme section.
Browse the available themes and click to preview.
Select the theme you want to apply.

Your theme is applied instantly across the entire workspace. There is no need to reload or save separately.

Custom Theme Editor

Pro
The custom theme editor is a Pro feature. Upgrade to Pro to create your own themes.

Pro users can go beyond presets and build a completely custom palette. The editor lets you adjust every colour swatch the app reads, including:

  • Primary and accent colours - the main colours used for buttons, links, checkboxes, and toggles
  • Background colours - separate swatches for the sidebar, page header, pop-up header and body, cards, and page background
  • Text colour - the colour used for all text and labels
  • Entity colours - the dot/bar colour for each entity type (Catchups, Meetings, Targets, Projects, Actions, Surveys, Retrospectives, Reminders, Journeys, Key Themes, Teams, Comments, Manual entries)

Changes preview in real time, so you can see exactly how your workspace will look before committing.

Resetting Your Theme

If you want to go back to the default, you can reset your theme from the same preferences page. This removes any custom settings and restores the standard Manager Toolkit look.

Resetting is useful if you have been experimenting with the custom editor and want a clean starting point. It does not affect any of your data or other preferences - only the visual appearance of your workspace is changed.

If you work in different lighting conditions, try a darker theme for evenings and a lighter one during the day. Switching themes takes just a few seconds from your preferences.
