Minimised Items

Keep forms open in the background while you work on other things.

Last updated April 2026

When you are creating or editing an item in Manager Toolkit, you do not have to finish it in one go. The minimised items feature lets you collapse a form into a small tray at the bottom of the screen, freeing you to browse other pages before coming back to finish.

How to Minimise

Open any creation or editing form - for example, a new catchup or action.
Click the minimise button (the down arrow) in the top corner of the modal.
The form collapses into a tray at the bottom of the screen.
Navigate anywhere else in the app. Your form stays in the tray.
Click the minimised item in the tray to restore it and continue where you left off.

Why It Is Useful

This feature is particularly helpful when you need to look something up while filling in a form. For example, you might be logging a catchup and want to check a previous meeting note for context. Instead of losing your progress, minimise the catchup form, find the information you need, then restore and continue.

You can have multiple minimised items at the same time. Each one appears as a separate entry in the tray, so you can switch between them as needed.

What Gets Preserved

When you minimise a form, all the data you have entered so far is preserved. Nothing is lost. Text fields, selections, linked items, and any other inputs remain exactly as you left them when you restore the form.

Minimised items are stored in your current browser session. If you close the browser tab or refresh the page, any unsaved minimised items will be lost. Be sure to save your work before closing the tab.
