Filtering, Favourites and AI Highlights

Show all events, only favourites, or let AI pick the moments that matter.

Last updated April 2026

Long timelines fill up fast. The mode segmented control above the bubbles lets you switch between three views without losing your place.

Modes

  • All is the default. Every event in the period, newest first.
  • Favourites shows only the bubbles you have starred. Useful when you have already curated the moments worth keeping.
  • Highlights asks the AI to pick the bubbles that matter for the entity you are looking at. Pro only.

The mode selector hides modes that have nothing to show. If you have not starred anything yet, the Favourites pill is dimmed; once you star one bubble, it lights up.

Favouriting a bubble

Hover (or tap) a bubble and click the star in its right action strip. The star fills yellow and stays visible after you click away, so you can spot favourites at a glance.

Stars are scoped to the timeline you are on. Starring an action's status change on its own modal keeps it as a favourite on that action's timeline; it does not automatically star it on the parent project's timeline. Each scope has its own list.

AI Highlights (Pro)

Highlights mode hands the timeline to the AI and asks it to surface the bubbles that read as load-bearing for that entity, e.g. status changes, completed actions, large progress jumps, comments that contain decisions, the items most worth re-reading before a one-to-one.

  • The first time you switch to Highlights on a given timeline, the AI runs and the result is cached.
  • Refresh the timeline to invalidate the cache and run again.
  • Free users see the Highlights pill but clicking it opens the upgrade modal instead.

Show deleted

The eye icon at the top of the timeline toggles soft-deleted bubbles back into view. Deleted bubbles appear with reduced opacity and a Restore action in place of Delete. Use this to recover something you removed by mistake.

Per-type filters (large mode)

On the full-page timeline (Performance Reviews, Project / Target detail) the side panel exposes per-source-type filter chips, e.g. Catchups only, Actions only. These stack with the mode selector, so you can ask for Highlights of Actions only to reduce noise even further.
