Every timeline in Manager Toolkit can be flipped from its default chronological list into a calendar view. The calendar shows the same events plotted on a month grid, so you can see how activity is distributed across days rather than only when each thing happened.
Switching the View
Look for the view-mode toggle at the top of the timeline. Pick Calendar to switch from the list view. The toggle stays visible, so flipping back to the list is one click away.
The two views are showing the same data; the calendar is just a different way of laying it out.
What the Calendar Shows
Each day in the calendar shows the events that occurred on that date. Where multiple events landed on the same day, they stack inside the cell with the most recent on top.
Click a stacked cell to expand it; click an individual event to open the bubble in full and use the same actions you would on the list view (favourite, comment, click through to the source entity).
When to Use It
The calendar view is most useful when you're:
- Preparing a performance review — scan the month grid to see what landed when, and pull out the highlights.
- Spotting quiet weeks — the empty days are visible at a glance, so you can see where activity has slowed.
- Looking at a date range — the calendar makes "what happened week of the 12th" much easier to answer than scrolling a list.
For a running feed of recent activity, stick with the default list view. The calendar is a tool for retrospective analysis, not real-time monitoring.
