Comments let participants add context, ask questions, or react in detail to a note without cluttering the board with extra cards. They are available during any active sub-status.
Enabling Comments
The Allow comments on notes retro option is on by default. Turn it off from the Build tab if you would rather keep the board to notes only.
When Comments Are Allowed
Once enabled, participants can comment on any note during Draft, Vote, or Discuss. Each comment is tagged with the author's display name (subject to the Show authors option) and the time it was posted.
Editing and Deleting
- Authors can edit and delete their own comments via the menu on each comment row
- Facilitators can edit or delete any comment for moderation
Edits and deletes broadcast immediately to every connected participant.
Where Comments Show
In Draft and Vote, comments appear in a small thread under each note. In Discuss, the comments for the note currently being discussed are pulled into the discussing panel so the team can see them all at once.
