When creating or editing a catchup, you can select one or more key themes to associate with it. This builds a record of how often each topic comes up across your conversations. See Creating and Linking Themes for a step-by-step guide.

Can I merge two themes that are similar?

There is no automatic merge feature, but you can archive one theme and re-link its associated catchups and meetings to the other. This keeps your theme list clean while preserving the connections.

What does archiving a theme do?

Archiving a theme removes it from your active list and from the selection options when logging new catchups or meetings. Existing links to past records are preserved, so your historical data remains intact.

How does AI theme detection work?

On the Pro plan, AI analyses your catchup and meeting notes to suggest relevant themes automatically. You can accept or dismiss these suggestions. See Spotting Patterns for more on how this works.

Can I see which catchups mention a theme?

Yes. Open a theme from the Key Themes page to see all linked catchups, meetings, and other records. This gives you a complete view of every time that topic has come up.
