Customising Widgets

Show, hide, and reorder widgets to build your ideal dashboard layout.

Your dashboard should show exactly what matters to you. This guide explains how to customise the widget layout to match your workflow.

Available Widgets

The dashboard ships widgets across every major feature: overdue, urgent, and all open Actions, recent Catchups and Meetings, Reminders, Retrospectives, Surveys, Journeys, active Performance Reviews, Targets, Key Themes, the Calendar, a Google Calendar sync panel, all your Teams, all open Projects, and a latest-activity feed. Anything you have pinned (a Project, Team, Journey, Target, or Survey) also shows up as its own widget.

The full live list lives in the Customise Dashboard modal, so it always reflects what is actually shipped, without you having to check this article when a new widget lands. Each widget pulls live data, so your dashboard always reflects the current state of your management activity.

Showing and Hiding Widgets

Not every widget will be relevant to your workflow. You can hide widgets you do not use by toggling their visibility in the dashboard settings. Hidden widgets are not deleted; they can be shown again at any time.

For example, if you do not use the targets feature, you can hide the targets widget to keep your dashboard focused on the information you actually use.

Reordering Widgets

You can rearrange widgets by dragging them into your preferred order. This lets you put the most important information at the top of your dashboard where you will see it first.

A common arrangement is to put upcoming catchups and overdue actions at the top (since these require immediate attention), followed by recent catchups and meetings, the calendar widget, and the latest activity feed (which provide broader context).

Pinning Entities

You can pin specific Projects, Teams, Journeys, Targets, or Surveys to your dashboard for quick access. Each pinned item appears as its own widget alongside the standard ones.

Pinning is useful for items you are actively working on or monitoring. For example, if you have a Project that needs daily attention, pinning it ensures you see its latest status every time you open the dashboard.

To pin an item, look for the pin option on the entity's detail page. Unpinning removes it from the dashboard but does not delete the item itself.

Review your dashboard layout monthly and adjust as your priorities change. Put time-sensitive widgets (catchups, overdue actions) at the top, and hide unused widgets to reduce clutter and keep your dashboard scannable.
