Customising Your Dashboard Layout

How to show, hide, and reorder widgets using the customise modal.

Last updated April 2026

Your Dashboard is the first thing you see when you open Manager Toolkit. The customise modal lets you control exactly which widgets appear and in what order, so you can build a layout that matches how you work.

Opening the Customise Modal

Navigate to your Dashboard and click the Customise button in the top-right area of the page.
The customise modal will open, showing a list of all available widgets with toggle switches next to each one.

Showing and Hiding Widgets

Each widget has a toggle that controls its visibility. Turn a widget on to show it on your dashboard, or turn it off to hide it. Hidden widgets are not deleted, they are simply removed from view and can be re-enabled at any time.

This is useful if you do not use certain features or prefer a cleaner, more focused dashboard. For example, if you do not run retrospectives, you can hide that widget to reduce visual clutter.

Reordering Widgets

Drag widgets up or down in the customise modal to change their position on the dashboard. Widgets at the top of the list appear first on your dashboard.
Place the widgets you check most often near the top for quick access.

Pinning Specific Entities

Some widgets support pinning, which lets you feature a specific item rather than showing a general summary. You can pin individual projects, teams, targets, journeys, or surveys so they appear as dedicated widgets on your dashboard.

Pinned widgets are helpful when you have an active project or goal you want to keep visible without navigating to its detail page each time.

Saving Your Changes

Once you are happy with your layout, click Save. Your changes take effect immediately and persist across sessions.
Review your dashboard layout every few weeks. As your priorities shift, update which widgets are visible and pinned so that your dashboard always reflects what matters most right now.
