AI-Suggested Catchup Topics are available exclusively on the Pro plan.

When you open a new catchup, the AI analyses recent activity for that team member and suggests discussion points you might want to cover. This helps you prepare for conversations quickly and ensures nothing important falls through the cracks.

How It Works

The AI looks at several sources of data to build its suggestions:

  • Outstanding actions assigned to or created for the team member
  • Recent catchup notes and any themes that came up previously
  • Overdue or upcoming targets the team member is involved in
  • Sentiment trends from recent conversations

Based on this information, it generates a short list of suggested topics, each with a brief explanation of why it might be worth discussing.

Using Suggested Topics

Navigate to Catchups and select the team member you are about to meet with.
Click New Catchup to open the catchup form.
Look for the Suggested Topics section. The AI will display a list of recommended discussion points.
Click on any topic to add it to your discussion notes, or use them as a mental checklist during the conversation.

Tips for Getting the Most from Suggestions

The more data you have in Manager Toolkit, the better the suggestions become. If you have only logged a handful of catchups, the AI will have less context to work with. Over time, as you build a richer history of conversations, actions, and targets, the suggestions become increasingly relevant.

You do not have to use every suggestion. Treat them as prompts, not a script. Pick the topics that feel most relevant and let the conversation flow naturally from there.
Your data is never used to train AI models. Suggestions are generated for your eyes only and are not stored beyond the current session.
